Some of us know what it’s like to be in a relationship that can only be described as “complicated.” Maybe your partner plays around a little too much, or the two of you are only compatible sometimes. Whatever the issue, the on-again-off-again love story is something even pets experience.
Two Ragdoll cats are currently going through this, and unfortunately for them, it’s only the beginning, as they’re expecting their first litter together. As exciting as this time may be, the duo’s interaction is giving toxic high school vibes all day!

In all fairness, I’ve been pregnant multiple times and can vouch for the sudden (sometimes massive) hormonal shift that happens. It doesn’t matter if the soon-to-be mama cat, Heidi, liked her “baby daddy,” Thor, a few seconds ago, because she changed her mind—and it’ll happen again!
Watch as these funny felines try to figure out if they’re, as Ross from Friends says, “on a break…” or not!
We can always count on @pearlsragdolls to showcase the down and dirty, often complex, inner workings of two kitties trying to figure out life together. Though Thor is as patient as can be, he might be riding those first-time dad waves. This will be the more experienced Ragdoll Heidi’s third time expecting, so maybe she’s just over it, and I totally get it!

Also in the video is Grandma Summer, who’s been a fan favorite for years. Back in 2021, Summer gained viral fame after repeatedly bringing her new kittens to her human baby sibling to greet them and possibly “babysit.” I’m hoping Heidi takes after Summer in this way because it’s hilarious.
Ragdoll Cats Make Excellent Parents
Don’t let Heidi’s mood swings fool you! Ragdoll cats almost always turn out to be amazing cat parents, thanks to their stellar list of traits. These loving, patient, laid-back felines have been growing in popularity over the last few decades, and Heidi’s spiciness aside, you can see why!
At first glance, these cats are stunning, but the icing on the cake is how cuddly and “floppy” they can be. We have a Ragdoll named Milo, and he’s the best boy who insists on getting up close and personal (in our faces) whenever possible.
I have no doubt Thor and Heidi will have some seriously adorable babies. But Thor’s going to have to learn that Heidi might change her mind about him a million times in a day while she’s pregnant. At least it makes for some good reality TV inspiration!
