Tiny Yorkshire Terrier in Christmas Sweater Has the Best Response to Being Asked ‘Are You Real?’

She’s real, and she’s fabulous.

In this precious TikTok, a passerby could not get over the utter adorableness of a tiny Yorkie who was perched in the front seat of her human’s car. The woman squeals at the pocket-sized pup, “Are you real?!” And based on this cutie’s very chill response, she’s all too used to this line of admiring questioning:

Right on cue, this little diva blinks a blasé but definitive “Yes” in response to her question, only before granting the woman an additional knowing wink that confirms that she is, in fact, the real deal. She’s certainly dressed to impress in a festive holiday sweater and darling pony tail, waiting patiently to be noticed by her adoring public. And the camerawoman isn’t the only one who thinks she looks like a toy. One viewer commented, “That’s a beanie baby,” with another saying, “A real life littlest pet shop,” and a third asking “Is that a Labubu?” And many more joked that the dog’s expression seemed to be asking the woman if she was real in return.

There was also a consensus among several viewers that because this dog is so irresistible, there is no way they would let her out of their sights. “Oh, she would be in the store with me,” said one commenter. I tend to agree. With a dog that chic and mini, she deserves a matching tote bag in which to ride around in style. The easier it would be for her fans to adore her, as well.

Good Things in Small Packages

Tiny “teacup” breeds are more popular than ever, largely because they retain that undeniable puppy cuteness throughout their lives. And while these micro versions of certain standard breeds are not recognized by the American Kennel Club, that hasn’t affected their demand. Teacup Yorkshire Terriers similar to the dog in the above video usually tip the scales at under 3 pounds, but their size doesn’t reflect their bold personalities. Yorkies are known to have big dog energy, with confident dispositions, as we clearly saw. And don’t think for a moment that size equals affordability: Breeders can charge upwards of $5,000 per pup.

It’s expensive to be she.
