Meet Gremlin: This week’s adoptable dog from the Marion County Dog Pound.
Gremlin is a three-year-old boy, but his breed is anyone’s guess. His caretakers simply labeled him as a “mix.”
Despite his name, Gremlin is a quiet, laidback boy. He’s not much of a cuddler, though once he saw a woman with an injured arm, he whined and cried to be near her. Caretakers guess he might’ve been able to tell she was injured and graciously offered his support.
Gremlin, a three-year-old mixed breed, is available for adoption at the Marion County Dog Pound.
Gremlin is sure to be a loyal companion who values peace, independence and provides a detailed perimeter patrol.
Despite his relaxed demeanor, Gremlin has called the Marion County Dog Pound home for almost a year. He’s hoping to find a family he can watch over in the new year.
Gremlin would likely prefer a home with older or no children, but hasn’t shown any aggression toward the children he’s met. He’d do well with female dogs and may be open to other male dogs, but he appreciates a slow introduction.
To meet Gremlin or any of the other dogs at the Marion County Dog Pound, stop by in person at 2252 Richland Road or give the pound a call at 740-386-6150. The pound is open 12-6 p.m. Monday-Friday and 12-4 p.m. Saturdays.
