Mini Goldendoodle Tries To Reason With the Rain and It’s Too Cute

Some dogs take one look at bad weather and immediately decide they want nothing to do with it. They’ll cancel their walk or playtime outside, refusing until the rain stops. Other dogs don’t mind the weather and are happy to jump into the rain puddles, unfazed by whatever changes come along with it.

This sweet video shows a Mini Goldendoodle carefully keeping an eye on the rain while trying to communicate her concerns without fully stepping into the downpour. The polite pauses and genuine concern make the moment irresistibly charming and equally funny. Take a look!

TikTok user @luxlifelulu shared a video of a cute and curious Mini Goldendoodle named Luna, who is trying to go outside and enjoy the day, but she’s not sure what to make of all the rain that’s falling from the sky.

Luna looks like she really wants to go outside from the outdoor seating area she’s in, and watching her peek out and then go back out is hilarious. Instead of panicking, she carefully tries to negotiate with the weather while doing her best to stay dry, as if calm logic might solve everything.

She almost can’t believe what she’s seeing either. She keeps jumping under and back to the awning area, running around the table, and looking higher from the view on the couch. Luna still can’t figure out why wet is falling from the sky, and if she should be worried about it or not; she’s not quite sure.

“Luna vs. rain,” the caption on the video reads, and that’s exactly the best description for this silly Mini Goldendoodle.

How To Help Your Dog With Weather Anxiety

Silly Luna looks like she’s not too bothered by the rain, and it’s good that it’s not storming outside, too. If things were different and the rain came with a thunderstorm, and your pup is looking a little anxious, there are a few tips you can follow to ease their anxiety.

According to The Parc Vet, thunderstorm anxiety can be hard on some dogs, but a few things can help keep them calm. Examples include ensuring your pup has a safe place to go when it’s storming, somewhere they feel secure. It’s also essential that you, as their parent, remain calm, too, because that will show them there’s nothing to fear. Another tip is to try to drown out the scary noises with TV sounds or music. If those don’t work or you’re worried about your pup’s anxiety, schedule a visit with your vet.

Maybe, in time, your dog will be more curious than anxious, like cute little Luna.
