Donkeys are known for being loud and noisy, but that’s not always the case. Petey is a friend and ‘seeing eye donkey’ for a bling horse named Luna. Petey’s been by her side for the last six years, and the two do everything together. While most of the time donkeys bray loudly when communicating, early in the morning on their farm, Petey quietly and gently wakes Luna up to let her know it’s time to start the day.

Make sure your sound is on so you can hear Petey’s sweet brays telling Luna it’s time to get up. Once she’s awake, Petey then leads her outside into the pasture. It’s so heartwarming to see!

Petey’s video may have only received 2.7 million views, but it racked up more than 6,000 comments. People had a lot to say about the sweet relationship between Petey and Luna!

@bpdmiku got 10,000 likes when they shared, “Donkeys can be sooo loud, he’s using his inside voice to wake her up!” Another commenter agreed, “For real! He’s so gentle!” @Laine added, “He’s whispering!” @Carl Hott made everybody smile when he pointed out, “He did gentle little donkey honks and then led her out into the sun.”
