Doodle Wakes up Sister Every Morning When Mom Leaves, and the Reason Is Too Cute

There’s always a big debate among pawrents about whether it’s okay to let your dog sleep in bed with you. It’s a yes for two of my three teens, and an absolute no for me. For others, they wouldn’t even be able to sleep if their pooch wasn’t snuggled up next to them!

TikToker @Claire3627 lets her family’s Doodle in bed with her, and the reason he wants in every morning at 6 AM is absolutely adorable. He’s an early riser because Claire’s mom is up and out the door for work by then, but he’s not ready to start his day. So, he patiently waits for her to invite him into her bed so he can catch an extra hour of shut-eye!

Claire shared in the caption, “He’s just a baby,” and that sounds exactly like what my kids say when they try to justify letting our dog into their beds!

Sweet Reactions to the Doodle Waiting Patiently to Get Into His Sister’s Bed

Like us, viewers found the cute Doodle who wants to get in bed with his sister each morning totally relatable… we’d all happily grab another hour of sleep if we could! Commenter @Taylor swooned, “The way the dog is just sitting there waiting patiently…”

@Emma Drager got more than 102,000 likes when she said, “I had to leave my door cracked so my childhood dog could wander between my room, my brother’s room, and my parents’ room during the night because he liked to do rounds of the house and check on everyone!”

We laughed when @Cloe shared, “How respectful. Mine knows how to open doors…”

Another commenter shared an interesting fact. “Dogs who sleep in their owners’ beds live an average of 12-18 months longer because their cortisol levels are generally lower bc they’re pack animals and feel safer.”

@hopee made everybody laugh with, “My dog pushes the door open every day and comes and lies with me after my mom wakes up for the day. And after I wake up for the day, he goes right into my brother’s room LOL!”

He sounds like a very smart dog!
