There are not many things cuter than puppies. Especially Bernese mountain dog puppies, which are little fluff balls. So it doesn’t take a Bernese puppy doing much to totally melt our hearts. And that’s exactly what happened when we watched a recently published TikTok featuring a puppy doing nothing besides sitting by itself, making little cute squawks at a human across the room.
The 23-second video comes from user @blissful.berners. The video’s caption reads, “So adorable, I can’t help but share this.” The video opens with a close-up of a Bernese mountain dog puppy. The caption on the screen reads, “Sweet 16-day-old Bernese mountain dog puppy talking to me.” You can hear the person filming say, “Look at this sweet boy over here just looking at us. Look at him. Hi!” And he almost immediately responds. “Oh yeah? Are you going to bark?” the woman filming responds. And then he gives out the cutest, most tiny bark again.
We’re Melting
“Oh really?” the woman responds, laughing. “Oh my goodness.” And then the little Bernese mountain dog lets out another adorable tiny squawk and bark. “Really? Are you talking to me?” the woman responds again. And he responds one more time before the video concludes.

TikTok users, of course, love it. “What’s that little independent man doing over there? He better go get some cuddles from his litter,” user @atallahbluh commented on the video. “Soooooo sweet,” user @ShannaG77 commented.
We’re Bernese mountain dog lovers. Beyond their cuteness, they are among the most loving and gentle dogs. Yeah, they’re big, shed a ton, and can be needy and dramatic. But they’re so good around people, children, babies, and other animals. We’ve covered many cute and funny Berner TikTok and Instagram videos. One of our recent favorites was a Bernese mountain dog giving tons of loving hugs to their favorite human. Another TikTok we recently loved is a play-by-play of when some folks got to pick up their new Bernese mountain dog puppy for the first time.
