Every dog has special quirks and qualities that make them one-of-a-kind, whether they’re a tiny dog who thinks they’re massive or a sleepy dog with a funny snore. No two dogs are exactly alike, but pet parents can still relate to one another and the hilarious moments they share with their pets.
On January 5, dog mom @alexismz20 couldn’t help but grab her camera and hit record when she noticed her Catahoula Leopard Dog, Oakley, surrounded by her dog toys like a dragon with its treasure. The way she sits in the middle of her toy pile is so cute that it nearly looks posed, but there’s no way a person could pose or replicate the priceless look on the pup’s face!
What a queen! Oakley seems annoyed that her mom filmed her like some celebrity, but anyone can tell that she’s proud of her hoard. She’s also got it made with a super soft dog bed placed right by the fireplace, so she doesn’t have much room to complain.
Dozens of comments compared this sassy dog and her toys to Golum and his ‘precious.’ Instead of a single magic ring, however, this expressive pup has her entire army of toys to protect! Her judgmental face may be her first line of defense, but something tells me Oakley has the attitude to match her looks.

“The glowing fire behind her really put this over the top,” agreed @haleybrooke_07. She really gives evil villain vibes! Maybe it’s her haunting eyes or her unwavering eye contact, but she sure knows how to make someone think twice before messing with her toys.
Whether dogs hoard their toys like Oakley or shred them into pieces within minutes, it’s always worth the money to see them having fun. After all, nothing is more adorable than a happy dog!
Catahoula Leopard Dogs
Most viewers were obsessed with Oakley’s attitude and treasure trove of toys, but one eagle-eyed commenter correctly guessed this dog’s uncommon breed. Even Alexis was impressed that someone else recognized a Catahoula Leopard Dog!
These strong and agile working dogs have striking, spotted coats (and some have haunting blue eyes), but they also have the power and endurance to perform a number of jobs. According to the American Kennel Club, they’ve been “stock dogs, bay dogs, tree dogs, watchdogs, guard dogs, and of course, loyal companions.”
Given the breed’s high energy and affinity for work, it makes sense that Oakley is so obsessed with her toys. They help keep her busy, whether she’s playing or hoarding them like treasure!
