Siberian Cat ‘On Best Behavior at Grandma’s’ Lets Loose Once He’s Home

Just like kids, sometimes pets need to go a little wild to release all the pent-up energy. This is especially true if they’ve been well-behaved with visitors. Also, like kids, they can only stay chill for so long before it’s coming out one way or another!

For Siberian cat Nimbus, visits with Grandma are a fun way to change things up, and he’s a very good boy when he’s with her. That means once he gets home, all chaos ensues—and it’s the cutest thing!

I’m sure my kids can relate to Nimbus’ need for speed after using his indoor voice and manners all day! The funny feline has his own unique way of releasing that energy at home, complete with his epic “Purrari” sounds!

I have to hand it to the boy for being a model citizen with grandparents. There’s that adage that if pets (or kids!) act up at home but nowhere else, it means they feel safe enough to be themselves with us and know how to be polite with others. So I guess… you’re welcome, Mom?

Nimbus Is the King of Zoomies

If this is your first time watching the Siberian in action, congrats! You’re in for a real treat! As one of the internet’s most beloved cat icons whose speedy zoomies and crazy cat sounds are unmatched, Nimbus is the epitome of unhinged chaos (in the best way).

Even better, Mom put together a 2025 compilation of his best moments—and don’t worry, he sounds angry, but he’s really just living his best life in 4D. With so much feline energy in every month, you can see why he’s a fan favorite. I think I relate most to the October Nimbus here.

I think Mom could look at it this way: if, after a trip to Grandma’s, he does all that, it means he was a good boy who followed the rules. Now it’s time to let loose and be free!
