Thinking adoption? Taunton’s Gizmo is a mellow senior cat to love

Gizmo, a 10- to 12-year-old female tortoiseshell cat, is looking for a new home after her previous owner could no longer care for her. She was brought to the Taunton Animal Care Facility and initially found cage life stressful, but has since settled into the adoption room, where she enjoys lounging on cat trees and taking naps.

Gizmo interacts well with other cats but prefers to have her own space. She sometimes seeks attention but can become feisty when she needs alone time. According to a community announcement, a home where she is the only cat would be ideal.

Gizmo has a senior adoption fee, and an approved adoption application is required to bring her home. Appointments are recommended for those interested in meeting her or other pets at the shelter.
