We Can’t Stop Laughing at This Tiny Puppy Trying To Get Annoyed Cat Sibling To Play With Him

Just like kids, sometimes our fur babies have a love/hate relationship. Meet Oakland, a tiny puppy who was recently welcomed into his forever home, where a cat already lived and was used to being queen of the palace. What the cat isn’t used to, though, is the endless energy that comes with a puppy, and it’s going to take some getting used to.

Watch as Oakland happily tries to play with the cat, completely oblivious to the fact that she wants nothing to do with his antics. Make sure your sound is on so you can hear his little barks as he tries to convince her to join in. Instead of playing, she delivers a few swats to make it very clear that she’s not interested!

We laughed when Oakland’s mom shared in the caption, “Her silence feels personal, LOL!” It certainly does, and it’s clear that Oakland isn’t picking up what she’s putting down!

Funny Reactions to the Cat With Attitude

People are cracking up watching the tiny puppy try to engage with the cat, and they have a lot to say about it. One commenter pointed out, “Cat unfazed.” @Fancy’s gf agreed, “Solidly unbothered.” @Pamela added, “Cat’s like… seriously chill.” Oakland’s mom replied, “No chill detected, LOL!”

@fancyface said what Oakland was probably thinking, “‘Hey, why you not talking… no need to paw me!’ LOL! Such a funny and sweet little pup!”

Commenter @Daily Dose of Diesel swooned, “Oh my cute!” and we laughed when Oakland’s mom added, “The cat doesn’t seem to think so…”

We can’t wait to watch Oakland and the cat’s friendship (we’re all crossing our fingers!) blossom. Their mom shared another video of the two snuggled up together, so there’s still hope they’ll eventually become besties!
