Dogs are one smart creature. They tend to learn things of their interest at the drop of a hat. Even this Golden Retriever learns to open doors, much to her parents’ surprise. However, to keep the pup safe and prevent him from opening the door, the owners come up with an idea, which fails miserably.

Nevertheless, the pup’s skills have left the Internet impressed. The video has already received more than 28K.

Parents set up barriers around the house after Golden Retriever puppy learns to open doors

Golden Retrievers are quick and smart learners. Take this puppy, for example. Cannoli left her paw parents surprised when she learned to open doors.

However, to prevent the 5-month-old pooch from opening every door, the paw parents came up with an idea. They decided to block the door with various furniture. However, it seems like the idea failed as the golden pooch could still easily open the door by pressing the handles.

The paw parent caught the pup in action and uploaded her video on @goldengirlcannoli, with the caption, “When you learned how to open doors and now your parents have blockades up everywhere.”

However, looking at her parents’ plan of action, it looks like Cannoli thinks she has to be “Like sorry I’m smart??.” But Viewers don’t think so. They are, in fact, proud of the pooch skills.

“You’re so smart!! You’ll find a way around it,” commented one viewer. While another pet lover said, “OMG hahaha, what a smart girl!” A person mentioned, “You accidentally raised a genius.”

One pet parent shared a similar incident, saying, “I had to put child locks around my house, and one time she just ate the child lock. She will not be contained.”
