Tiny Ragdoll Kittens Falling Asleep on Mom’s Shoulder Are the Cutest ‘Dust Bunnies’ We’ve Ever Seen

Teddy and Tulip, two tiny Ragdoll kittens, don’t need much—just a comfortable spot to nap on mom’s shoulder. These two little fluffballs are so small they could fit in the palm of mom’s hand. However, these kittens’ preferred place to nap isn’t their own cat bed or the couch. They want to snooze on their human’s shoulder, and no amount of noise or sunlight can keep them awake.

These adorable kittens are being compared to dryer lint or dust balls because they’re just that small. Described as “0 minutes old,” these babies are far too cute to resist. As if mom needed one more reason to stay close to her kittens, watching these newborns snooze so easily on her shoulder is so heart-melting that we might not move for the entire naptime either.

Check out the sweet video and read more about these charming newborn Ragdoll kittens.

In a video shared to social media by @pearlsragdolls out of Fort Worth, Texas, mom can be seen cozying up to her two Ragdoll kittens on the couch. She introduces Teddy, the first of the two kittens, and explains that he’s going to take a snooze on her shoulder. The little one immediately closes his eyes and falls fast asleep, only to be gently disturbed by his buddy Tulip, who wants in on the shoulder nap zone too.

These two couldn’t be any fluffier or cuter as they wiggle their way onto mom’s shoulder during the video.

Tiny Ragdoll Kittens Steal Hearts With Shoulder Naps

Viewers marveled at the kittens’ size. One wrote, “He looks like he’s only half a minute old.” Another added, “i’m crying they’re literally 0 minutes old.”

An envious viewer lamented, “I want a kitten shoulder slumber party too.”

Another gushed, “Their little folded ears. Tiny paws. Ugh, what precious babies.”

Some commenters compared Tulip and Teddy to dust or dryer lint. One wrote, “Ma’am, your white dryer lint needs snuggles.” Another wondered, “Is your sweater made out of kitten?” noting that the creator’s sweater closely matched the kittens’ coat color.

As much as some viewers wish these cuties could stay this small forever, they’ll only be wee kittens for so long. Ragdoll cats typically grow to weigh between 10 and 20 pounds, depending on gender and genetics. They’ll likely outgrow mom’s shoulder, but it’s safe to assume she’ll never be too far away when these sweet cats need a shoulder to cry—or sleep—on.
