Horse Can’t Shake Her Grumpy Attitude, and Honestly, Her Reasons Are Valid

When humans get annoyed with each other, they usually have the option to walk away and give themselves a little bit of space. Unfortunately, the same isn’t always true for horses, and they have no way to distance themselves from what or who is making them bonkers.

Ziva is a 16-year-old mare living her best life on the Double Z Farm in Oregon. Sometimes, her neighbor in the next stall, Zinger, can drive her a little up the wall, and unfortunately, there’s no place for her to go. So, in a totally passive-aggressive manner, she responds with funny facial expressions and the horse equivalent of an eye roll whenever he’s acting like a goofball.

Zinger is the classic boy-next-door stallmate. It’s obvious from the recent Instagram video that he definitely isn’t taking life too seriously. His goofy faces and sense of humor do all the talking, and we can’t get enough! Their human narrator (also known as Mom) perfectly captures the 5-year-old horse’s antics throughout the clip, and we can’t stop laughing.

First, Mom says, “OK, Ziva, what are you mad at… this time?” She then pans the camera over to Zinger, who’s leaning over the barn wall. Interpreting Ziva’s immediate eye roll, Mom adds, “Oh, that’s what’s wrong—he’s too close!”

She then can’t help herself and adds imaginary commentary for Zinger as he makes goofy faces over the top of the wall. “I’m here to talk to you about your car’s extended warranty—just kidding!” she jokes. Next, she writes, “This is a robbery, give me all your carrots!” all while Mom is cracking herself up.

Viewers React to Ziva and Zinger

As always with this type of funny animal video, the followers had lots of funny comments, including these highlights:

“Zinger looks like Sid from Ice Age! LOL!”

“It’s like a mom who wants her 20-year-old to move out!” 😂

“He has no thoughts. Just vibes. LOL!”

This pair gave us a good laugh, and we look forward to seeing more of them soon!
