Little Lamb Smothering Her Human Dad With Kisses Is the Definition of Love

Many pets gravitate towards one human who is clearly their favorite. In the case of this little Valais blacknosed lamb named Mollie, it’s her dad. Mollie’s mom shared a video of the little lamb smothering her dad in kisses, and it’s the cutest thing you’ll see today.

Make sure your sound is on for this one; Mollie’s dad’s laughter is very contagious! As Mollie dotes on her dad, giving lots of kisses and sniffs, he’s enjoying every second of it and can’t stop laughing. We’re just wondering, where do we sign up to get this kind of attention from an adorable lamb!

We cracked up when Mama Braley mom wrote in the video’s caption, “I’m just the third wheel at this point!” The little lamb is definitely smitten with her dad!

Commenters Want Their Own Valais Blacknosed Sheep

Commenter @Maria asked the question we all have, “Where does one sign up to be a lamb’s favorite person?” After reading the comments, one thing was very clear: everybody wants a Mollie of their own!

Not only are Valais blacknosed sheep cute, but they are also adored for their sweet and friendly temperaments, making them a fun pet to have around and a favorite on the farm. They get along with all animals and children of all ages.

They’re often called ‘Teddy Bear Sheep’, and we can see why! They look like giant fluff balls, but there’s a lot of sheep underneath all that wool. Their weight varies by gender: males typically weigh between 176 and 220 pounds, and females weigh between 154 and 198 pounds.

The Valais Blacknose Sheep Society shared some fun facts about these adorable sheep.

  • Ewes have a black tail spot, rams do not.

  • Horns are helical or spiral and grow outward from the head in both ewes and rams.

  • The wool is an important characteristic and the whole body, head and legs is evenly well-covered, exhibiting the sheep’s robust frame.

A purebred Valais, however, doesn’t come cheap; you can expect to pay thousands of dollars for one. The good news is that crossbred Valais sheep are available for a fraction of the price. If we could find one that looks just like Mollie at that price, we’d probably already have one!
