Goldendoodle Frolicking in a Snowstorm Brings the Sunshine in Cute Clip

Many places across the country have endured some of the coldest temperatures and massive snow amounts over the last couple of weeks, and quite honestly, it’s depressing! Give me sun, sand, and everything warm and hopeful or nothing at all.

For Ernie, the Goldendoodle, this is the best weather for the best outside zoomies, and after seeing his thrill, your cold day might feel a little sunnier. The only problem is, he never wants to go back inside (sorry, Mom)!

Ernie’s just doing what most pups would do given the opportunity, which is enjoy the snow day. His freedom frolicking might make you nostalgic for childhood, when this weather meant something to look forward to, like when school was canceled so you could go sledding or build a snowman! This is Ernie’s version!

This Goldendoodle has no problem with the bitterly cold air because it’s so much fun! It’s such a dog thing to do to find the good in the little things and make the most of it, even at 1 a.m. after waking Mom. It may only be 11 seconds, but those are 11 seconds of pure joy!

Ernie’s Been Through a Lot

The recently turned 5-year-old pup was rescued from a puppy mill at barely 1 year of age. As explained in a post from 2022, he’d never been in a house and feared the stairs, so Dad had to carry him up when he first arrived. As heartbreaking as that is, it makes his happy time in the snow that much sweeter.

This rescue dog deserves all the snow after going through all he did, and you can see in this clip, it’s all too much. What a precious baby boy who needed lots of love and patience to become who he is now.

Seeing that makes me tear up, especially him having been so young with so much trauma to his name. At least now, he’s in a family who’ll do anything to make sure he never feels that way again—even if it means letting him play in the snow at 1 a.m. and for as long as he wants!
