Sweet Newfoundland Throws Epic ‘Galentines’ Party for 96-Year-Old Grandma

It’s February, which means love is in the air! Whether you’re coupled-up or living it up solo, it’s almost impossible to go anywhere without being reminded it’s almost Valentine’s Day—especially if you have a dog. To them, it’s a lovey-dovey holiday every day, so fellas beware: These charming little angels are 100% stealing your girl!

Chewy, the Newfoundland, is living proof of how big a dog’s heart really is. This year, he’s showing all his favorite ladies how special they are by throwing them a “Galentine’s Day” party, and of course, he’s the main attraction!

Who needs a boo when you’ve got a sweet boy like Chewy? He may not speak our language, but he doesn’t have to. With a love like this, there’s nothing he won’t do for his people—most of all, his 96-year-old grandma, and he’s thrilled she’s his Valentine.

The precious celebration shows Chewy all decked out in cherry red garland while “his” ladies gather in the name of love. Between the cozy robes, tasty treats, and themed decorations, the devoted Newfoundland soaks up all the attention like the star he is, and rightfully so! This beats pretty much any romantic dinner out, diamond necklace, or box of chocolates any day.

Chewy’s Love for His Family Is Everything

Whether you’ve only just discovered Chewy or have followed him for a while, one thing remains constant: his love for his humans. Grandma may be the clear frontrunner when it comes to this pup, but he adores all of his people SO much that he never wants them to leave.

Like many Newfoundlands, Chewy is the epitome of loyalty, unconditional love, and a deep need to serve and protect them. Watch as he tries his hardest to get his human brother to stay home and play with him (it might break your heart a little).

The “Galentine’s” celebration was a real hit, but it’s Chewy’s presence that made it so. It doesn’t matter what holiday it is because to him, being with family, especially Grandma, is the best day every day. Oh, dogs really are something else—we will never deserve them!
