While humans may be counting down the days until spring weather rolls in, many of our furry friends are enjoying the cooler temperatures. For some, the cold doesn’t bother them at all. In fact, one Bernese Mountain Puppy is fully in his element in the snow. This pup even carved out a space in the yard for his own wintery hideaway where he could relax like a true snow king.

In a recent video, the human behind the @buttertheberner TikTok showed Butter the Bernese Mountain Puppy in his element. As they wrote in the post caption, “This dog is on another level.”

Butter was literally born for this weather! The cold doesn’t bother Bernese Mountain Dogs as they thrive in cooler environments like the one Butter is in. In the video, you can see a yard covered with snow, and Butter’s human gave their take on this pup’s playful behavior, saying, “POV: It’s -10, so you dig a luxury winter lounge.” Well, why not?

He’s chilling in the snow without a care in the world, and TikTok viewers were very amused by this dog’s actions. “Such a Berner,” joked @motherofhousewolf, and others chimed in with stories about their dogs, like @2busymama10, who added, “Our Berners are living their best lives in this winter wonderland!”

@fietethebernese joked, “Just come inside for dinner,” and Berner’s human replied, “It was lunch, or he never would have [run] in.” There’s no arguing that Butter looked content to stay in the snow all day long. It was only toward the end of the clip that he decided to come out of his snow lounge.

The cold truly is a happy place for dogs like Butter, and he’s been loving the weather all season long. Lucky for us, his pet parent has been sharing his many snow adventures, like the time he decided to have a late-night lounge session in the snow.

Though this Bernese Mountain Puppy doesn’t only lie around in the snow, he likes to take walks around the yard, too.
