Our dogs can be very particular about their routines and don’t appreciate when they’re disrupted. So when the time changes and it gets dark much earlier than usual, it can completely throw them off; suddenly, they’re convinced it’s bedtime hours before it actually is.
Bubba, the Cane Corso, in this video, is a perfect example. Make sure your sound is on so you can hear him trying to tell Dad it’s time to hit the hay. And when Dad says no way because it’s way too early to call it a night? Bubba immediately turns to Mom to whine and complain, just like a little kid!
We laughed when Wendy said in the caption, “Bubba thinks he runs the house!” Funny, at our house, our dog does, too!

Funny Reactions to Bubba’s Complaints
People got a kick out of Bubba’s reaction to being told it’s too early for bedtime. @Chasity Smith laughed and shared, “He said to mind your business, LOL!” @Jodi-Lynn agreed, “He turned around and said HUSH, Mama! I’m tired and ready for bed! Haha!” @Aimee added, “He wasn’t talking to you!”
@Jennifer pointed out, “He acts like he pays the mortgage!” and Wendy replied, “That’s what I’m saying!” @Nancy shared, “When Bubba’s ready for bed, we all go to bed!!!”
Commenter @roe cracked us up with, “He said it has nothing to do with you, LOL!” @Ivey thought the same thing, “He turned around and said, “Stay out of this, Mom, you’re not helping.” LOL! That’s so funny!”
