This Senior Retriever Goes Out in the Snow, and It’s the Cutest Thing Ever

It’s always sad to see our furry friends get older. When the white hairs start to show up around the face and the active movements start to slow down, you know that your companion is starting to age. Just as our buddies start to age, it’s normal to see them take things slow. You’ll find that the walks get a little shorter and the zoomies happen at a slower pace.

Although our aging furry friends start to slow down, that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have new and fun experiences. In fact, it’s vital to keep enjoying these moments with senior dogs. Stella, a 13-year-old golden retriever, proved that core memories have no age with a new snowy memory that’s equal parts emotional and adorable. Along with her golden sibling, Stella’s winter prance is an inspirational moment for us all.

Viewers React Emotionally to Stella’s Winter Run

Set to music that only makes one more emotional, Stella, an adorable 13-year-old golden retriever, is shown prancing through a snowy trail with happiness and a smile. Despite her age, Stella tries her hardest to keep up with her younger golden sibling, Mabel. Even though she runs at a slower pace, Stella’s smile is hard to ignore. Eventually, Stella comes to a halt after her small run, but clearly she couldn’t care less about running faster.

Another viewer shared, “Stella’s a once-in-a-lifetime dog I’ve enjoyed watching (& laughing with) in all her escapades. S ay healthy Beauty.”

What is true is that Stella’s mere enjoyment of life is an adorable reminder of living life with a smile as much as we can. As another commenter put it, “The quality of her lifetime and the happiness in which it has brought us will surely outshine most lives. Keep going, good girl.”

While we still recover from watching Stella and Mabel enjoying the snow, let’s all keep living life with Stella’s warrior spirit.
