This Dog Mom’s Plan to Keep Her Pup Busy Backfired in the Most Adorable Way Possible

Having one dog is already a recipe for chaos, especially if you have a velcro dog that never leaves your side. As someone who has babysat velcro dogs, I know what it’s like to want to do things like go to the bathroom or move your leg, but not being able to because a certain puppy follows your every move. This especially rings true for dogs who are the only children in their homes, because, well, they have no one in their own species to hang out with. So what’s one solution to this problem? Getting another dog, naturally.

As we saw, one golden pet owner’s solution to remedy a bored and lonesome golden retriever was to get him another buddy. This was with the hope that another dog could entertain her oldest golden and maybe give her a little bit of alone time again. But boy, was she wrong.

The Only Thing Better Than One Dog Is Two

As we saw from the beginning of her video, this golden retriever was not letting their human out of their sight. Everywhere their mom went, there was an adorable golden attentively staring at her. While everyone appreciates being loved by a dog, this doggie’s intense stare could get a little awkward.

So what did their human do? Get them a buddy to play with! Another golden that’s equally as adorable. The hope was to have a buddy who could entertain and play with each other, giving mom a bit of a break. However, that wasn’t what happened at all. Instead of one puppy staring at her, Gamja and Chip tag-teamed, and now she has two goldens that stare at her at all times.

The best part of all of this is that Gamja and Chip are not subtle about it either. Instead, they glue their heads together for maximum staring abilities. For viewers, this whole chaotic moment was beyond hilarious, with one user commenting, “I like how their heads have to glued together for it to work.”

Another commenter added, “Aaaaaw! Hahahaha. The same thing happened to me, BUT they do occasionally entertain one another without wanting me to join in.” Which, if you ask us, is only a fair deal.

Although we aren’t sure this “problem” is going away anytime soon, maybe mom should try adding a third!
