Have you ever had one of those days where all you want is to sink into a hot tub and let everything else fade away? If so, you’ll understand exactly where this Jack Russell Terrier is coming from.

After what was clearly a long day of chasing his ball, Ollie decided it was time for a dip in the hot tub. With his toy still in his mouth, this adorable little guy hopped right in and let the warm water melt all his cares away. If you’re old enough to remember Calgon commercials, this moment fits right into that bathtime mood.

See his spa moment that might leave you feeling a little jealous in this TikTok from @ollie.the.rocket, shared on March 9:

I don’t know about you, but I feel more relaxed just watching Ollie take his soak. Even though this good boy loves to play and swim, he clearly knows how to appreciate a little downtime, too. And while he may not need champagne and strawberries, having his favorite toy seems just as perfect.

Ollie’s fans knew exactly where he was coming from. One joked, “Bringing his ball is the equivalent of a human bringing their cocktail.” While @Grumpysnore admitted, “Dear Diary, I’m jealous of a dog.” Honestly, same.

And @RoofTopCaucasian said it best: “The look of absolute relaxation and appreciation in his eyes says it all.”

Jack Russell Terriers Are Energetic Dogs With Playful Personalities

Jack Russell Terriers are known for their high energy, intelligence, and love of activity, which is why many are drawn to play, movement, and even water. That natural curiosity and confidence often translate into a willingness to hop right into new experiences.

According to OrvisRussell Terriers are “usually strong swimmers and most of them enjoy taking a dip in the water.” However, they also note that every dog is different and should always be supervised around water.

Watching Ollie settle into that warm soak, toy still proudly in tow, is a reminder that even the most energetic pups know when it’s time to slow down. And honestly, if we all leaned into those little moments of relaxation a bit more, we might be just as content as this very good boy.
