Just when we think we’ve seen the most heartwarming dog content social media has to offer, along come two unlikely canine cuties whose newfound friendship is doing a serious number on our ability to keep our emotions in check. We’ve accepted the fact that dogs plus social media equals us getting choked up, and this video is the pass-the-tissues kind of post that has us unabashedly feeling all the feels. We’re not mad about it.

French Bulldog and Pit Bull Form Sweet Friendship

Keep reading to see the sweetest emerging friendship between a bumblebee-hoodie-wearing French Bulldog and a curious Pit Bulldetermined to make friends.

In a video that dropped into our TikTok feed, Ms. Bella, a bumblebee-hoodie-wearing French Bulldog, can be seen finding her first-ever best friend, a cool Pit Bull named Mr. Red. The patient Pit Bull calmly lets Ms. Bella sniff around and get to know him, while he relaxes and returns some sweet snuggles her way. The two newly acquainted dogs are respectful and curious about one another as they are slowly introduced, each getting to know the other on their own time.

As if Ms. Bella’s bumblebee ensemble wasn’t sweet enough, watching her make her first best friend has us reaching for the tissues as the waterworks fall. Judging by the post’s comment section, we’re not the only viewers completely smitten by the Pit Bull and French Bulldog’s budding friendship.

“Precious babies,” wrote one. Another added, “So sweet.”

“Paw-fection,” shared one more.

We love seeing these two different dog breeds bonding and becoming fast friends. French Bulldogs and Pit Bulls are remarkably compatible. Both breeds are generally affectionate and loyal, which means they’re strong candidates for getting along.

Introducing any new dogs, but especially a French Bulldog and a Pit Bull, should be done slowly and under supervision due to the breeds’ size difference and the potential for play styles to become too rough.

We love this friendship and can’t wait to see more of Ms. Bella and Mr. Red’s adventures together.
