What Makes a Good Livestock Guardian Dog?
Not all dogs are up for the challenge of being a livestock guardian dog. Some breeds are better at the task than others, and ultimately it comes down to individual pups and their personalities. An assertive dog works well with certain animals, while submissive dogs tend to work well with animals like chickens. Training can also really impact a livestock guardian dog. So make sure you get your pup thoroughly trained.
