Animals have some pretty big personalities and will show them accordingly. Sometimes they do this in adorable ways. And sometimes they do this in ways that can only be described as over-the-top. The latter certainly applies to the kangaroo in the video below.
This very bold kangaroo seems to have what a certain character from Jurassic Park might describe as “a deplorable excess of personality.” At the very least, nobody can say that this colorful kangaroo doesn’t know how to put on a show, LOL.
According to this video, this big boy of a kangaroo goes by the name of Rufus. He certainly knows how to flex his muscles, picking up a bunch of hay in his arms and flailing it about everywhere before showing off what he’s got like he’s prime Arnold Schwarzenegger pumping iron.

While this guy may be doing everything he can to show how tough and strong he is, the results of his chest-thumping shenanigans are still undeniably hilarious.
If you turn up the volume on this video, you can hear the human who is recording this scene on her phone laughing hysterically in the background as Rufus attempts to show all the other kangaroos what’s up.

Viewers on social media had a lot to say about Rufus and his over-the-top antics. Some simply admired Rufus’s big size: “Wow, he is big! He is stunning!”
According to one viewer on social media who was familiar with Rufus, he is not done growing yet: “He will get bigger, he’s only a young adult. Our Red Kangaroos get very muscular and big.”
Others took Rufus’s shenanigans as an opportunity to crack jokes, making comments like “This is the perfect representation of me carrying 26 bags of groceries,” and “This is what I look like when I’m doing laundry.” While some viewers on social media simply remarked that Rufus is totally “hilarious!”
