It’s no secret that dogs don’t like taking baths. They may like getting dirty, but getting a bath is out of the question. While we’ve seen dogs enjoy bath time on rare occasions, it’s still uncommon. It’s much more common to see clips of dogs performing acrobatics and jumping to avoid getting into the tub. This means dog parents have had to get very creative to get dogs to even stroll into the bathroom.
That’s the story behind one dog mom’s decision to “trick” her Doberman into taking a bath, even if it means lying to him. While we aren’t sure the sweet dog understands she has been lied to, we (and the Internet) are ready to call a lawyer on her behalf.

This Sweet Doberman Has Been Fooled and Hoodwinked
Using her innocence against him, one dog mom gave her the false hope that she was picking between two options on what to do that day. The options given to Bonita, the Doberman, were either to take a bath or to go to the dog park. While Bonita had no idea what was on the other side of the cards, she ended up picking the dog park. However, in the next clip, Bonita’s mom revealed: “Poor girl, she can’t read.”

At the end, we witness Bonita in the bathtub, ready for her bath. We aren’t completely sure that Bonita has any idea what happened or that she was lied to, but we do know she ended the day with a fresh, shiny coat. We can also assume that she won’t like it when Mom shows her index cards anymore.
In the comment section, many internet friends took to defend Bonita and immediately asked for legal assistance for the adorable dog. “She needs a lawyer. This is entrapment,” stated one user. Another viewer joked, “That’s just wrong on so many levels, but that’s a cute baby right there.”
While we definitely feel for Bonita, who probably has no idea she lied about going to the dog park, we can’t deny that she looks absolutely stunning after her bath. Bonita also appears not to have minded the bath, so we will go ahead and give Mom a pass for this time.
