Sometimes our pets are a little wary of meeting new people and will hide to avoid the introduction. TikToker @itslicibaby96 recently met her brother’s orange cat for the first time, and he was pretty standoffish, until she found the funniest way to coax him into coming closer.
Turn your sound on for this one because the cat actually moves to the beat Lici is making with her hands. Watch as she drags her hand back and forth across a blanket and see how he reacts. He starts walking in sync with the sound, and it’s cracking people up!
How many times did you watch the video? We’ve watched it at least three times, and other commenters couldn’t get enough of watching the cat stalking Lici’s hands either!

Funny Reactions to the Very Un-Stealthy Cat
Viewers left hundreds of comments about Lici enticing the cat and the orange cat’s funny way of approaching her. We laughed when @peanuts4who said exactly what we were thinking: “Tell me why I thought those were the sounds of him walking LOL!”
“I thought this was fake for a second,” admitted @Tausha, and that’s probably why we watched it more than once!
@Maddy got more than 43,000 likes when she pointed out, “He be using your hand sounds to cover the sounds of his movement.” @Ali replied, “That’s some Looney Tunes type shii…”
@O’nae said, “Cats think they so mysterious!” Another commenter shared that the cat was actually hunting, “No lol, he’s doing this because of the same reason a lion moves when a gazelle is walking, he just thinks the hand can’t “see him” when it’s occupied moving.”
Commenter @Alexa cracked everybody up with, “Velocity edits.” @Gabriel added, “POV: You’re messing with the keyframes in a twixtor plugin effect.”
We laughed when @K A Y Y asked, “Ummm are y’all playing red light green light?”
@Nih Croc suggested, “You should try tapping your fingers and see if he comes faster. Some cats get really excited over finger wiggles.” Another commenter added, “That is orange cat energy.” Everybody agreed with that statement!
