There’s nothing like a good TV show to help you relax, unwind, and slip away from reality. Whether you enjoy a movie or a series, chances are you look forward to it and the opportunity to tune out the rest of the world.
While we tend to think of TV viewing as a human activity, pets appreciate it, too. In fact, one Bull Mastiff is completely riveted by a cartoon, and it’s the sweetest thing you’ll see all day. Take a look at this clip shared on TikTok.
“POV: The first time watching cartoons for dogs in the colors they can see,” writes Fonzee the Bull Mastiff‘s family. “It’s called ‘Siesta Dog TV‘ on YouTube.”
Apparently, Fonzee isn’t the only one who enjoys these cartoons. Viewers shared that their pets love these programs, too!
“I play them every day for my babies,” wrote one pet parent.

Aw, we’ll do anything for our pets, won’t we? Even boost our electric bills.

This person is one of many who shared that they want their fur babies to have company throughout the day, even if it’s simply the sights and sounds of the television.
“I leave that on my TV when I have to leave the house for my dogs. They watch it, too. It’s calming for them 🤣🤣🥰,” someone else explained in the comments.
It sure does seem to have Fonzee hypnotized!
Do All Dogs Enjoy Television?
Dogs may not enjoy television in the ways we do—chances are they’re not in it for the drama of a reality show or the suspense of a police procedural—but they do appreciate the sounds and motions on the screen, experts say.
If you’re unfamiliar with Siesta Dog TV, you can find it on YouTube. As Fonzee’s family noted, it features colors that dogs can see and also includes background music that’s proven calming for pets. It lasts for 8 hours and takes pets on a cartoon adventure through New York City. Now, if only smells were included, pups would be in heaven!
We’re glad Fonzee is so content! But what happens when he wants total control of the remote? Just kidding!
