There’s a recently resurfaced TikTok from @abigail_morrow that’s making people cry for all the right reasons and the Daily Mail wanted to share the sweet moment. Every morning, a sweet dog named Honey goes to the exact same spot she always has and waits. She’s waiting for her 94-year-old neighbor, who used to bring treats out to her every single morning without fail.
Sadly, the kind neighbor passed away. But, Honey doesn’t understand that. Or maybe she does, and she’s just waiting anyway—hoping for a miracle.
The caption reads: “Every morning our 94 year old neighbor would bring treats out to our dog. Honey still waits for her every morning since she’s been gone.”
The video shows Honey in her usual spot every morning and every morning the kind neighbor was at the fence feeding her treats. Then, at the end, there’s Honey still at the fence watching, waiting and hoping. Them at the very last scene, there’s a bark—the kind that sounds like a question that can’t get answered.
The comments section echoed the collective grief.
Izabella, the neighbor’s great-granddaughter, wrote: “Crazy to see my great-grandmother go viral on TikTok, sweetest woman I’ve ever known. Not a bone in that woman’s body could hold any anger and or negative emotions. We all miss her more than anything.”
