This year, Amazon Pet Days is going to be bigger than ever. Previously 48 hours long, this year’s event is expanding to cover five full days of major savings for pet parents. The event starts on May 11 and runs through May 15.

I spoke with an Amazon representative about this year’s Pet Days event, and it sounds “a-meowzing” to me. In this economy, I’m always looking for a great deal that will let me spoil my cat a little more, without stretching my budget. So when Amazon reached out to me about this event, I was immediately intrigued.

The 5-day event will include features like:

• Savings from major pet brands like Purina, Blue Buffalo, IAMS, Hill’s Science Diet, and more.

• This isn’t just for cats and dogs! You’ll also find savings from Kaytee, Tetrapond, Farnam, Flockleader, and more.

• Open to ALL Amazon shoppers — no Prime membership required

• Customizable Amazon Pet profiles — These profiles will be better than ever. Just fill yours out and you’ll get personalized recommendations for savings based on your pet’s breed, size and preferences.

• Exclusive savings on pet food, treats, toys, grooming supplies, and more.

This is an annual event for Amazon, but somehow I didn’t know about it until this year! So I’ll definitely be scouring Amazon’s listings for some of the best deals during Amazon Pet Days and sharing them here with Parade Pets readers! So keep an eye out for those stories in May.

Amazon Pet Days 2026 Times

So what are the exact times that you can take advantage of Amazon Pet Days?

The event kicks off at 12 a.m. Pacific on Monday, May 11. In other time zones that’s 1 a.m. Mountain on May 11, 2 a.m. Central, and 3 a.m. Eastern.

It ends at 11:59 p.m. Pacific on Friday, May 15. For other time zones, that’s 12:59 a.m. May 16 Mountain time, 1:59 a.m. Central, and 2:59 a.m. Eastern on May 16.

Where to Look for Deals

You can find deals across Amazon’s website on Amazon Pet Days. But a great place to start when the event kicks off in May is the Amazon Pets destination page. Here, you can shop based on the type of pet you have: dog, cat, fish, bird, small animal, reptile, amphibian, or horse. Or choose the category you’re interested in, like apparel, dog treats, cat food, new arrivals, cat litter, pet technology, dog furniture, and more.

Amazon always has great deals, so you don’t even have to wait if you want to look for specials now.
