This Parrot’s Hilarious Opera Rendition of Breakfast Foods Has Us Crying Laughing

They say you shouldn’t repeat things around children that you don’t want said in public because kids can be sponges and spontaneous. Well, the same concept applies to parrots, especially with Auggie.

Auggie is a Quaker parrot, a beautiful, intelligent bird species known for their very vocal nature. There’s no better evidence of that than Auggie, who loves to sing opera versions of everyday words that I’m sure her neighbors don’t mind hearing.

While the internet definitely doesn’t mind, we can’t help but wonder what it’s like to listen to this quirky parrot all day. In a new social media clip, Auggie’s human showcased some of the bird’s singing skills, which can be heard from outside her bedroom. With a loud and unique voice that definitely turns heads, it’s not hard to see why this bird has gone viral more than once.

Viewers React to Auggie’s Unique Opera Singing Skills

In a montage showcasing Auggie’s supreme opera skills, this adorable parrot gave us a peek into the household’s everyday life. Between different versions of “bacon” and “pancakes,” Auggie is clearly a fan of breakfast foods. Alternating between just bacon and just pancakes, Auggie’s song is very simple.

Even behind closed doors, Auggie’s singing is loud and clear. Viewers were also treated to a special remix version that included rifts of “baby” throughout. Between high pitches and the alternating lyrics, we can only assume that this parrot’s parents are entertained at all hours of the day.

In his remix, viewers couldn’t help but compare it to Justin Bieber’s “Baby,” though we may have to admit that Auggie’s version is currently stuck in our heads. “Omg she learnt a new song. A true Belieber!” added one user in the comment section. Elsewhere in the comments, fans couldn’t help but be wowed by Auggie’s singing talent.

“Just when I thought it could never come close to matching ‘Bacon pancakes doo doooooo!’, here Auggie comes with “Baby, baby, baaaabyyy, ooooooo!” added another user. While it’s clear that Auggie has moved on to covers, we can’t deny our preference for her original songs.

While we wait for Auggie’s next compilation, we will continue to sing bacon and pancakes throughout the day in our best Auggie impression.
