Some sweetheart pups were meant to be parents. Even if they’ve never had a litter of their own, you can tell they’d make the perfect step-in for whatever type of fur babies are in need.
Lilly, the Boxer, is one of these angels.

Children don’t have to be blood-related to feel like they’re *yours*, and no one gets this more than Lilly. She’s a total natural with this crew of adorable bunny babies, and it seems like that “in love” feeling is mutual.
“Lilly just can’t get enough!” the post says, and you can tell by her face she’s smitten. The 35-second video of pure bliss showcases what a gentle, affectionate, and protective dog parent Lilly is, even if they’re not actually her children.
The bunnies are cute enough all on their own, but together with Lilly, it’s too much! With so much cuteness overload, this sweet Boxer mama has people in awe, and she deserves all the kudos everyone’s throwing her way.
“We don’t deserve dogs,” one person wrote (and it’s SO true). “She is such a loving mama,” another fan praised the darling pup. “They look just like her! Of course she is their mom!” another follower joked, to which Mom replied, “Couldn’t tell her any differently, lol.”

Lilly Recently Celebrated a Big Birthday
You wouldn’t know by looking at her, but Lilly just celebrated her 11th birthday with the cutest pink party, complete with a replica cake, the coolest decorations, and the princess of the hour in a precious birthday costume. She enjoyed sitting like a good girl while Mom sang to her. Honestly, look at her face—I can’t take it!
Like many pups of the breed, Lilly encompasses all the best traits. She’s bright, fun-loving, patient, and protective. The AKC even deems the Boxer breed “the whole doggy package,” and if Lilly is who they’re referring to, they’re right!
She’s too precious for words, with or without the bunnies; although, those babies are so lucky to have the best dog mom in the world!
