Man Builds Abandoned Goat a ‘Goatel’ and It’s Nicer Than Some Houses

Deano Jones was aware of a goat living near his property, but the goat never paid him much attention, and he didn’t bother it either. That all changed when a storm knocked down a fence, and the curious goat wandered over to say hello.

Deano shared the story of how this abandoned goat named Feral Frank ended up “adopting” him, and it’s such a fun story. He grew to love Frank and even built him a cozy “goatel” to live in, with Frank on hand to watch and supervise every step of the construction process!

What an amazing story! We love how special Frank became to Deano that he even built him a goatel. Is it weird that we’re a little jealous of his cool pad? We laughed when Deano said that Frank was a natural-born supervisor; it looks like he’s a pro at it! Commenter @hunnybagger agreed, “Goats are like dogs, they just wanna be part of what’s going on!”

Viewers’ Sweet Reactions to Feral Frank and Deano’s Story

Like us, people loved hearing about how Feral Frank and Deano became besties. We loved @oracle_of_optimism’s sweet comment, “Goats are so social that it is advised to buy three at a time because if one dies and leaves one solo, a solo goat can easily die of grief. You gave Frank family. He was probably so lonely before he met you.” @Stephmahan added, “People like you are the reason people like me have a big smile on my face!! Thank you for your kindness!”

@seventhomen shared, “A black goat picked YOU. That is one epic spirit animal!” Commenters were confused by why they specifically mentioned a black goat so they followed up with, “Because black animals are usually the first to be killed in shelters because people don’t adopt them. Because of the superstition that they can walk between both worlds; that they bring back luck when really they are wonderful at clearing negative energy in someone’s life. But also a black goat – some people think it is satanic. I think it’s magical.”

Commenter @kipstar90 had our favorite reaction, “He’s a beautiful creature! Rock on, Frank!” Rock on, Deano, too!
