Imagine having the worst day ever, which starts the moment you open your eyes (on no sleep), working a fully stress-fueled day, fighting traffic on the way home, and feeling like nothing can turn your mood around.
Enter Enzo, the Golden Retriever, who heard the call and decided he was up for the challenge. This silly pup isn’t only waiting by the door to say hello, but he’s flashing the cutest, toothiest smirk that could wash away anyone’s bad day.

I admit, I’m a hard one to turn from grumpy to happy once the day hits a certain point. But if Enzo and his mega-watt smile stood at my doorway when I breezed through, everything would change.
Look at this handsome gentleman!
“Every day we come home, he’s always smiling!!! The best part of coming home,” the post is captioned—and I can see why! What a beautiful smile he has. This 2-year-old good boy may not scream when he’s happy, but that killer smile is a close second.
“That’s the cutest thing to come home to EVER,” one person praised. “Aw… such pretty toofs!” another pointed out. “OMG, Staaaph!!! That’s the most precious thing I’ve seen,” another supported.
Another person wrote what sounds like what I’d say in the least dramatic way possible, adding, “Him is a cheesy cheese man, and I would die for him.”
It’s not only when Mom comes home that the Golden Retriever smiles. He’s an emotional boy who can’t hide his joy when he’s excited about anything—even a pup cup!
I don’t know who could possibly be in a bad mood with a sweetheart like Enzo around. It’s impossible!
Dogs Can Smile, But Body Language Matters
Even though a dog’s smile doesn’t look the way a human’s might, their version can signify they’re feeling happy or relaxed. Like Enzo, you can tell it’s not aggression, submission, or anxiety by observing the rest of his body language—that’s the key.
Some pups might have the same expression but with a stiff body, no tail wags, and other clues that it’s something else like aggression or stress. Likewise, if they’re doing neither but have a relaxed, open mouth along with a relaxed body, they’re showing elation, too. It’s about the whole picture!
Enzo, you are an angel for sharing your toothy grin with the world. Please, never stop being you!
