Wonder Woman would make a wonderful companion

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR)—Each week, WFXR News highlights adoptable pets filling up animal shelters across Southwest and Central Virginia.

This week, on Tuesday, November 18, Stephanie Wright with the Franklin County Animal Shelter brought Wonder Woman to Furry Friends!

Wonder Woman and her puppies were brought to the Franklin County Animal Shelter after being abandoned on the side of the road in a crate. When they came into the shelter, the dogs were skin and bones. After a few months of treatment, they have all made miraculous recoveries and are available for adoption!

Furry Friends: Brody is a bright spot in your day!

Wonder Woman is roughly two to three years old. Despite her sad situation, this momma has a sunny outlook on life! She loves to show off her smile (and her belly) when meeting people. Her favorite things include giving kisses and getting belly rubs!

Wonder Woman would do well in a semi-active household. She enjoys playing and would make a great hiking companion; however, once she gets her energy out, she likes to lie around. Overall, she would make a wonderful family dog as she’s friendly and gentle with everyone, including children.
