It’s tough flying these days.
With the government shutdown not really having an end in sight, the chance your flight takes off on time these days is slim.
Then once you get on the plane, you have to deal with, you know, the horror that is flying.
However, sometimes we see amazing things on flights, and it restores our faith in humanity for a bit.
That is what happened here, in this short video from influencer Abby Baffoe, who recently took a flight with her adorable Dachshund puppy, Lady.
Baffoe wrote a caption to start the video saying, “These flight attendants were obsessed with my dog and kept coming to steal her.”
Cut to one flight attendant holding Lady and getting lots of kisses from her.
Then Baffoe cuts to another flight attendant, who has taken Lady to the back of the plane.
Eventually, they do bring her back to her seat in her bag, but they were so happy to spend time with a cute puppy during their workday.
Could that be any sweeter?
Are Dogs Allowed To Be Out of Their Carriers During Flights?
You may be wondering why this little dog was allowed to be out of her carrier during the flight.
Well, it really depends on which flight attendants are working your flight that day.
Clearly, these flight attendants loved having Lady out and about.
However, if she were a Golden Retriever, they may not have been able to carry her back and forth.
I was once on a 40-minute, half-empty flight to Martha’s Vineyard with my Yorkiepoo puppy, and my dog was desperate to get out of the carrier and just sit in my lap, but the flight attendants wouldn’t allow it.
It just really depends.
These airlines allow dogs in the cabin, but each has specific regulations and rules for pet travel, so definitely read up on them before you book.

And if you want to travel with lots of dogs and have them out and about in the cabin, there is also the semi-private BARK Air.
