Have you had your daily dose of joy yet today? Well I have something for you! Adventure World in Wakayama, Japan recently shared a video of a baby penguin. What a cutie! The little guy is truly so adorable. Even his little penguin belly is totally cute.
The penguin was getting a check up in the sweet clip. Look at how cute he was! They were just making sure he grows up big and strong.
Is he not the cutest thing? The baby penguin looks almost like a stuffed animal. He’s perfect! One day he’ll grow up, but for now he needs to get his check up to make sure that he’s on track.

First, the Emperor Penguin was placed in a bin to be weighed. The little guy was so interested in his surroundings. Then he reared his head back and let out the most adorable noise.
The best part of the clip was without a doubt the animal’s little waddle. And his tiny tummy too! I know we can’t keep penguins as pets, but man do I wish we could!
Something tells me that I’m not the only one. Other people were just as smitten with the penguin too.
“At what point is he gonna start singing and tap dancing?” joked one commenter.
“I would literally cry of happiness if I ever touch a baby emperor penguin,” chimed in another person.
“How does one acquire the occupation of penguin weigher?” teased someone else.
“They seriously look like a stuffed toy it’s crazy,” one commenter pointed out.
How Many Eggs Do Penguins Lay?
I could look at baby penguins all day long. Nesting season, aka the time when penguins mate and lay their eggs. Penguins tend to lay two eggs per nesting season, which means two babies. If nesting season goes well, the penguin mama will lay her eggs in mid to late May. Meaning that the eggs take about 38 to 42 days to hatch.
Penguins will usually keep their babies close to them until they’re ready to go out on their own. Which I totally understand. Who wouldn’t want one of these little guys by their side?!
