Sometimes, when you’re out running errands, you need a little pick-me-up to get through all the tasks on your to-do list.
For some it’s coffee, others may prefer a smoothie. When my children were little, I’d often promise a visit at the frozen yogurt shop if we made through every stop peacefully. Apparently, pet parents try the same tricks and just like with children, if we don’t deliver, dogs aren’t shy about letting their humans know they’re furious!
Take a look at Princess Poppy who was told she’d get a pup cup at the end of an outing. When her pet parent didn’t come through, this beautiful Boxer refused to get out of the car! Check out this clip uploaded to TikTok and see if you think this pooch is blowing things out of proportion. Or, should she immediately be taken straight back out for a pup cup?
Look at that face and the epic silent treatment! Princess Poppy could be a soap opera star because she is truly bringing the drama!
It looks like her pout put her pet parent back in the driver’s seat based on the clip’s caption.
“And we are now headed to Starbucks,” Princess Poppy’s family writes, adding the hashtag spoileddog.
Hey, we didn’t say it.

Viewers can’t get enough of this sassy pup.
“Being judged by an animal is the worst,” one writes.
“We’re not done running errands until I say we’re done. Period,” another viewer comments, channeling Poppy’s thoughts.
“She is ignoring you big time,” someone else points out.

How to Make Your Dog a Homemade Pup Cup
If dogs could whip up pup cups themselves, we bet they’d be in the kitchen 24/7. Luckily, creating pup cups is pretty easy for pet parents to do. You may even have the ingredients on hand.
One recipe calls for equal parts Greek yogurt and pumpkin puree, then add in a banana. Blend and freeze and voila! You’ve got a frozen treat that will ensure man’s best friend remains man’s best friend—and not a pouting beast.
We’re glad Poppy got her pup cup after all. It would’ve been a long, silent night if she hadn’t!
