Parrot Has an Adorable Crush on the Lovebird Print on His Mom’s Pajamas

Some Parrots crush on toys, mirrors, or shiny objects, but Tickle Pickle, an Indian Ringneck Parrot, has taken things to a whole new level. In the video, he discovers a Lovebird printed on his mom’s pajamas and instantly decides it’s the most beautiful creature he has ever seen. He leans in close, studies the design, and then gently presses his beak to the print like he is giving it a soft kiss. It is the purest little moment, and his mom can barely contain her laughter when she asks him which one he loves the most.

But Tickle Pickle does not stop there. He starts whispering sweet nothings to the pajama bird, cooing and saying I love you in his tiny Parrot voice. It’s equal parts adorable and unhinged, and viewers are obsessed with how genuine he seems. He tilts his head, fluffs his feathers, and keeps returning to the same printed Lovebird like he fully believes he has met the one. If Parrots could write love letters, this little guy absolutely would. Just look at this little Romeo!

@kiwi.kalein.crystals shared the hilariously cute clip, with the caption, “Pickle Tickle, the Indian Ringneck Parrot, has a new crush… a Black-Masked Lovebird on my pajamas. He kept giving the little bird kisses like it was true love. He’s so gentle, so sweet, and so dramatic. Typical Indian Ringneck energy.” I don’t think my heart is strong enough for this degree of cuteness! “HAHA! Pickle locking in with the PJ pants Lovebird, LOL, I swear it’s because it reminds him of a sock.” Another person added, “He definitely picked that little Lovebird!”

Indian Ringnecks are known to be expressive, but Tickle Pickle is putting on a full rom-com performance, and he is committed to the bit. The bird on the pajamas is just minding their business, and Tickle is ready to fall on his bird knee and propose.

What’s the Personality of an Indian Ringneck Parrot Like?

According to the website Lafeber, “The Indian Ring-Necked Parakeet is not a shy bird, and does best with a bird parent who appreciates an outgoing companion who is not afraid to demand what they want! Indian Ringnecks can also be quite talkative.”

Indian Ringneck Parrots are known for being intelligent, social, and extremely expressive. They form strong bonds with their people and can develop big personalities, often leaning into silliness, drama, or mischief. They are excellent talkers and can learn words, phrases, and emotional tones quickly, which is why Tickle Pickle is so good at saying I love you to a pajama print. These birdsneed plenty of mental stimulation, toys, challenges, and human interaction to stay happy. They can also be affectionate, but often on their own terms, choosing when and how they want attention. If you enjoy a clever, chatty, slightly dramatic companion, an Indian Ringneck Parrot can be a wonderful fit.
