Walter the Dachshund Does a Thanksgiving Costume Fashion Show and We Can’t Handle It

Who says Halloween is the only holiday that gets costumes? That is not the case for Walter the Dachshund this Thanksgiving.

His Mom put him in not one, not two, but three different Thanksgiving-themed costumes, and we can’t get enough of it!

We’re not so sure how Walter feels about it, though.

In a new video from @brittymaac featuring Walter the Dachshund, his Mom wants to know which of his three different outfits for Thanksgiving is best. Fashion show time!

First comes the classic turkey head costume, which is essentially a stuffed animal turkey that you strap to the dog’s head like a headband. So it’s pretty low-maintenance costume considering it’s just a headpiece.

His Mom says he doesn’t hate it, but we’re not so sure with the look Walter is giving the camera.

Now, it’s time for the more elaborate and historically accurate costume: a Pilgrim.

The costume consists of a brown cape, a tall brown hat with a black belt on it, and then turkey feathers that go on the dog’s neck (not sure Pilgrims ever sported turkey feathers, but let’s just go with it.)

His Mom finds this one to be so funny that she is crying and says this one might win, but Walter seems less than amused. He also won’t move in this costume, making it even funnier.

For the grand finale, we have a full-on turkey costume, including the head with a gobble and giant eyeballs.

When they turn Walter to the side in the costume, it looks more like a fish with feathers, but it is still quite cute.

His Mom asks which one people like best, as they all have some great qualities. I am partial to the pilgrim one, as he seemed to take on the stoic pilgrim persona when he wore it. Walter for the win!
