Dachshund Playing With New Electric Ball Makes Parents Hopeful Their Pup Will Tire Out

Pet parents are always looking for fun and interactive ways to keep their pups active. With so many cool products out there, many of us rely on social media to discover the latest and greatest enrichment toys available.

One Dachshund mom recently shared a TikTok video of her adorable pup playing with an electronic ball, and honestly, it might be one of the coolest toys ever. Cashew absolutely loves it, and according to her paw parents, it keeps her busy for extended periods of time whenever she plays with it.

The little Doxie gives viewers a demonstration of just how much fun the interactive ball can be as she chases it around the house. Just when she thinks she has it cornered, the ball bounces in the opposite direction. According to the video, the ball can be turned on and off, and it has several different play modes to keep pups guessing.

Mom shared in her video that the ball’s battery life can last up to 70 minutes, which means even the most active pup is likely to tire out before the toy does. As she wrote in the caption, “This toy feels like a pet parenting hack. I don’t know who loves it more, me or Cashew.”

At first, it was quite a challenge for the Dachshund to catch the ball, but after what probably felt like a lifetime in dog minutes, she caught the rope tie portion that sticks out from the top of the ball. Overall, Cashew had an absolute blast, and her mom probably loved the little bit of bonus free time, too.

Viewer Reactions to Interactive Ball

One commenter admitted, “I got one for my dog, and he is DEATHLY afraid of it!” and Cashew’s mom replied that several others had said the same thing.

Another person pointed out that the ball might not be the best option for large dogs or power chewers, but most viewers just commented on how absolutely adorable Cashew is or how much they think their own little Doxies would like the ball, too!
