The holidays can be the most wonderful time of the year regardless of where you are and who you spend them with. Sill, there’s something about spending Christmas with the entire family, including pets, that makes it truly unforgettable.
New dog mom @breehobbss gets to experience this first-hand this year with her Miniature Dachshund puppy, Kevin. The tiny dog isn’t going to miss out on a single holiday tradition, including posing with Santa for an iconic picture. Every puppy’s first time meeting Santa is as entertaining and adorable as the last, but the way this baby looks like a Christmas toy takes his photo (and the video his mom took) to the next level.
What a tiny little baby! I don’t know how Santa had the willpower not to kiss and snuggle Kevin like the cutie pie he is, but like a true professional, Santa posed just as sweetly as the puppy did. This is going to be a photo (and video) @breehobbss will treasure for a lifetime!
“Did Santa come to take a picture with Kevin?” @mylesperkins2 asked. “Because that’s what it looks like to me!” This tiny puppy’s fans would fill an entire mall just to line up for a picture with him, and now Santa would, too.

Kevin and his festive collar are definitely on the nice list this year, and this video simply confirms it. If he’s this sweet in public at such a young age, just think of the little gentleman he’ll grow up to be! Dachshund puppies can be sassy, and even a bit naughty, in their teenage years, but there’s nothing that cute face can’t fix.
Hundreds of commenters gushed over the tiny puppy’s unforgettable first meeting with Santa, but only a few eagle-eyed viewers noticed Kevin resting his head on Santa’s hand at the very end of the video. If only the cameras kept rolling!
Dogs Meeting Santa
Pet parents consider their pets to be their fur babies now more than ever, which is why it’s becoming more common for dogs (and other pets) to meet Santa Claus. After all, why shouldn’t dogs take part in Christmas traditions?
“Mine are naughty so we saw the Grinch instead,” commented @samantha10785. That’s the best! He’s becoming a more popular Christmas character, too, but let’s be honest—no dog is truly on the naughty list!
Kevin is the perfect example. He’ll get into plenty of trouble throughout life, but everyone can see that he’s a good boy.
