Pit Bull’s Fancy Prosthetic Boots Have Her Back Legs Ready for the Runway

Dogs are all so unique, of course, but there are some dogs who stand out more than others for any number of reasons. For example, some pups have a particularly funny bark, while others have unique markings. Anything that makes a pooch unique is just so special!

Some dogs apparently have very fancy, very fashionable prosthetic boots. They look great in shoes, and they pose in such a way that has them totally ready for the runway… or is that just this one? You have to see this Pit Bull, because she truly is an icon.

Betty and Her Boots are totally what I needed to see right now. She was apparently born without her back feet, and she hasn’t let it stop her for even a second! Betty never had the feet to begin with, so she’s certainly not missing them. She does have fancy boots, though!

Betty was adopted when she was still a puppy, but before she made it to her forever home, she was sleeping on the street. Imagine having to fend for yourself while missing two feet? Betty is seriously the strongest girl in the whole world.

Betty is the epitome of a princess. She might be missing a couple of feet, but that just means she gets to use it to her advantage! She has awesome custom boots to help her walk, and sometimes she gets carried. This Pit Bull is independent, though, so that doesn’t happen often.

Also, she has best friends and loves to play with huge sticks at the dog park.

I like that she’s making her friend hold it. She’s not there to work! She’s there to chew!

What Do the Boots Do?

Betty’s boots are very stylish, and they complete any outfit, but they’re not just there to be pretty. They actually really help her!

Prosthetic boots like these are typically weighted at the bottom. They act like legitimate fake feet, so they improve her stability and can help alleviate some of the pressure that being a bipod puts on her remaining feet. She can get by without them, but having them really helps!
