German Shepherds work hards, but they play harder. Once these pups find a toy or a person they like to play with, it’s basically over. Good luck taking it away from them! They’ll always find a way to get it back.
One German Shepherd will go as far as to take a toy from a puppy! While her puppy brother was trying to figure out how to get to the toy from inside of his crate, she just kind of walked over and took it. What else was she supposed to do?!
Kenzie H is so lucky to have caught this on camera. When her puppy takes his big brother to court for theft, this will be a great addition to the case. Maybe the German Shepherd will get sentenced to some puppy jail time, too! They can match.
The best part of this whole thing is that the door to the crate was literally open. At any time, the puppy could have gotten out to grab his toy, but he didn’t even think of it. Maybe he just wanted to sharpen up his problem-solving skills!

The puppy in the crate is a Golden Retriever. He’s a pretty classic puppy, from what we can see: most puppies have pulled similar stunts. He’s doing the good boy thing! He wanted his toy, but he knows that he’s not supposed to leave his crate unless mom says so.
The poor Golden Retriever wanted to be a good boy, even with the door open, and this was the reward he got! Poor thing. Unfortunately, this is the only video about them that’s been posted on their mom’s account, but that’s okay. I bet they’re fighting over that toy still!
Puppies Learn From Big Siblings
It’s not a requirement that you have a sibling if you have a puppy, but it is helpful sometimes. If they have a big sibling to learn from, they might pick some things up faster, like:
-
Basic commands like sit and stay.
They’ll also learn some bad things, too; their siblings are going to teach them their bad habits. It’s just a part of the job!
