Anyone with experience in the kitchen knows how handy it is to have a helper when you’re trying to cook. This is especially true when tiny humans are trying to cook something.

Thankfully for the little boy in this video, his big brother, Comet, was ready to lend him a helping hand, or hoof, we should say, because Comet is a horse.

And Comet definitely did “help” his little human brother, or at least he tried to, LOL. You can watch this adorable video by clicking the link here.

Everything started off okay. Comet was right by his little sibling’s side, ready to get in there as soon as he needed it.

The only thing was, this little human was actually doing okay, trying to “make” a molasses carrot cake on his own. Things only started to get more complicated when Comet tried to step in.

We don’t want to assume any bad faith intentions on Comet’s part, but we think he actually may have been more motivated to snack on carrots and molasses than to help his tiny human brother bake a cake, LOL.

Time and time again throughout this video, Comet’s tiny brother tells him to “wait a minute” and “just be patient” as this horse enthusiastically goes for the carrots and molasses.

We would like to think that Comet’s heart was in the right place, or at least his stomach was, while this video was being filmed, LOL.

The Internet didn’t mind Comet’s culinary shenanigans, though, with many people citing this video as the best thing they had seen all day.

Instagram user aliceff75 was of this mindset when she wrote, “A horse in your house and your toddler mixing up a recipe while said horse sneaks around him to eat it might be the best thing on the internet today.”

While Instagram user geniabrewer had a similar sentiment when she wrote, “This whole thing is absolutely precious and warms my heart – but ‘you widdle rascal’ and ‘I told you to wait’ are two of the most precious to me, and then Cooper smacking the measuring cup with his little hand – pure perfection!”

This Family Loves Horsing Around

As this other video shows, Comet gets to spend plenty of time with his tiny human brother when they go out riding on the trails.

You can really tell how comfortable they are around each other by the way Comet easily trots along with his baby brother on his back. It’s almost like they are one.

It’s definitely heartwarming to see an animal and his human sibling so in tune with each other as they enjoy nature’s beauty on a wonderful, sunny evening!
