Ponies are so sweet! There’s a reason they’re the type of pet that every little girl in the world dreamed of having: they’re tiny, they’re precious, and they make everything brighter. Unfortunately for our childhood selves, though, most of us can’t handle a pony at home.
That’s not always the case, though. One tiny pony is very happy on her forever farm, where they treat her like a little tiny queen. She has lots of space to run, lots of friends to play with, and a big hay bed. The world is her oyster, and she’s taking full advantage.
Cupcake the Mini Pony’s daughter, Princess Strawberry, has officially begun to push her out of the spotlight. Princess Strawberry may be new to the world, but it already feels like she’s been in our hearts forever! Luckily, Cupcake is so happy to be a mom that she doesn’t mind.
Princess Strawberry was born back in June, and she was apparently a complete surprise to everyone on the farm. They had no idea that Cupcake was pregnant at all, somehow, and came out one day to find a tiny baby foal in her stall.

Cupcake’s commitment to giving birth in private is just a testament to what a little lady she is, and that rubbed off on her baby girl. There was some discourse about her name at first, with some followers suggesting that “Cake Pop” would be a good name. It’s a little mini cupcake, after all!
Princess Strawberry fits her perfectly, if you ask me. These days, Her Highness is always prancing around the pen with her horse friends, showing off various outfits and bows. She’s living her best life!

Luckily, Cupcake and Princess Strawberry are not going to be separated. They’re going to get to live together forever, but over time, she’ll become a little more independent. At just 6 months old, there’s a good possibility that Strawberry is still nursing!
Horses are better off staying with their mothers for about a year after birth, though many can stay with their moms forever with no issues. Strawberry certainly will!
