Nauti, a very joyful Golden Retriever who also happens to serve as the household alarm clock, is delivering the sweetest wake-up call around. Unlike my punctual Frenchie Mix Rescue, who believes the best approach to morning motivation is launching directly onto your chest, this sweet Golden takes a much softer route.

Even though waking kids up is not always the easiest job, this Golden Retriever is more than ready. Nauti’s sweet awoo to Mom felt like his warm-up, and the moment he got the green light, he sprinted straight down the hall to his human siblings’ room. You could practically see the joy radiating off of him, but even with all that excitement, he stayed perfectly gentle as he hopped up onto the bed between his still-sleeping sisters.

Then came another heartfelt awoo. Within seconds, one sister opened her eyes to a very happy Golden Retriever staring back at her, tail going a mile a minute and soaking up every bit of attention. When the second sister began to stir, he rolled onto his side like he had been waiting for his turn to snuggle, making sure everyone got their share of love. You can tell this is not just a cute trick. It really does feel like his favorite part of the morning.

Fans absolutely felt it, too.
