Mixed breeds like Goldendoodles and Chiweenies have become very popular over the last few decades. Sometimes called “designer dogs”, these hybrids carry features of both breeds and resemble aspects of each parent. My Dachshund-Miniature Pinscher mix has the trademark long body of a Doxie and the tan and black markings of a Pinscher, where my Pug-Corgi mix is a total lowrider and boasts the nose of a Corgi rather than the flat-faced Pug.
Ravioli the Chihuahua mix most likely has a bigger breed in his bloodline since his body hints to a larger class.
In the TikTok from @ravioli.linguini, the Chi mix stood in the kitchen with an adorable expression on his face. His mom lovingly praised his unique shape as Ravioli took in the accolades while wagging his tail.
“Who has a beautiful body like a potato?” his mom raved. “Who has this beautiful potato body?”
Her assessment was somewhat accurate. Ravioli’s stature was muscular and on the stocky side, which seemed in sharp contrast to his much smaller head. While his face definitely displayed Chi-like features, the gray and white dog was taller than the typical toy breed.
“Potato body, tater tot head,” the onscreen text read, with the caption jokingly adding, “Ravioli waiting on his Ore-Ida sponsorship.”
Ravioli could definitely make people do a double take due to his unevenly proportioned stature as well as his over-the-top adorability.
Ravioli Had People Guessing
Viewers of the video were charmed by the sweet Chihuahua, with some trying to determine his non-Chi heritage.
“Looks like a Chihuahua cross Staffy,” one suggested.
“He’s like a Pitbull with the head of a Chihuahua,” another remarked.
“Looks like he walked out of a Renaissance painting,” a follower raved.
“He’s so freaking cute!! He could pass for a Chi/Pit Bull,” someone pointed out.

Many comments on other posts from the social media account suspect Ravioli is at least part Pit Bull due to his bulky build. Regardless of breed, the landslide opinion is that the precious pooch is perfect just the way he is.
