Maine Coon cats are already famous for their enormous size and big personalities, but one particularly confident Maine Coon may have just taken things to another level. In a viral video making the rounds online, a giant Tabby Maine Coon casually rides on the back of a donkey, as if it’s the most normal thing in the world.
Maine Coons are often described as dog-like cats because they tend to be curious, fearless, and unusually social compared to many other breeds. Which might explain why this cat apparently saw a donkey and immediately decided it would make the perfect ride. Yeehaw!
The hilarious video was uploaded to the TikTok account @mcfloofenpantfamily, and the caption simply reads, “Yeehaw.”
The clip shows a massive Tabby Maine Coon perched on the back of a brown donkey as the pair stands together on a snowy farm.

The cat looks perfectly comfortable sitting there like he has done this a hundred times before, while the donkey calmly accepts the situation like it’s just another day on the farm.
Viewers in the comments were absolutely delighted by the unexpected duo.
“How does one get into the cat and donkey business? I’m considering a career change,” one person joked.
Another viewer wondered if the kitty might actually be trying to steer his ride.
“Isn’t the cat trying to get the donkey to move by nibbling ears?”
Others were simply ready to pack their bags and move to the farm immediately.
“I need this life. I want this life. This IS the life!” SAME!
Some people felt the video perfectly captured the natural order of things.
“Cats really rule the world.”
And one commenter had a simple request for the animals involved.
“Could you do me a favor and give both of them a good boop and pet for me, please?”
Another person summed up the entire moment perfectly.
“The cat got a free ride. It’s on the house.”
Are Maine Coons More Chill Than Other Breeds of Cats?

While every kitty has their own personality, many Maine Coon parents will tell you the breed tends to be a little more relaxed and confident than the average cat.
I can only speak from my own experience, but my Maine Coon is definitely more chillax than my domestic cats. He wants to meet every single person who walks into our house, has absolutely no fear of strangers, and happily investigates everything that moves.
He’s also completely unfazed by other animals and will occasionally swat the dog just to remind everyone who is really in charge.
That confident, curious personality is one reason Maine Coons often get along well in busy households with lots of activity.
And honestly, after watching this giant Maine Coon casually riding a donkey like it’s his personal Uber, the whole “fearless and chill” reputation suddenly makes a lot more sense.
