Those cats are obviously onto something.
That’s what one adorable dog has figured out as he engages in the very cat-like behavior of kneading or “making biscuits.”
“When your dog only has cat brothers,” Fisher, the Golden Retriever’s, pet mamma says in a sweet TikTok clip. “So now he is a part of the biscuit-making process.”
Of course, much of who we become is shaped by our environment. And Fisher is certainly a true example of that!
“He is truly convinced that he is a cat,” Fisher’s mom adds.
This video is just the sweetest. Looking at this lovable fella wedged into the corner of the couch, kneading away at a throw pillow while keeping a little purple toy in his mouth, is too cute for words!
Fans can’t get enough of this darling dog—who may just think he’s a cat!
“Dogs raised by cats and cats raised by dogs are my favorite,” said a TikTok viewer.
“Yesterday I saw a cat playing fetch, and today I’m seeing a dog making biscuits,” added another fan. “What a time to be alive!”
“He’s too big for biscuits,” added a third. “He’s making WAFFLES!”

Why Do Cats Knead?
It’s super cute to see Fisher knead the dough. But for cats, it’s actually an instinctive behavior.
In fact, cats “make biscuits” because it’s comforting. It’s instinctual behavior from kittenhood, stimulating milk from their mother, which carries into adulthood as a sign of happiness, relaxation, and trust, kind of like a security blanket.
Well, if it works for his cat brothers, I commend Fisher for giving it a whirl. Call me crazy, but I get the feeling Fisher is no stranger to lounging around the house and relaxing on his plush couch, with or without the help of a little kneading!
“I have never in my 36 years witnessed a dog making biscuits,” a shocked fan added.
Others questioned whether Fisher is an actual dog.
“WDYM dog? That’s an Orange Cat.”
Regardless, Fisher is just the cutest boy, dog or not!
